Off to P@H!
Try mixing a little wet in with it. Natures Harvest or natures diet are supposed to be good. I use original Chappie, a little of that won't hurt her.

Re: Do I HAVE to buy puppy food?

Thanks guy. I went and got fishmongers salmon and potato. The kibble is quite large.. kinda wish I went with wainswrights. but she does seem to like it. We have no problem breaking the kibble down.

How much should I feed her though?

with symply, they recommend 95-170 grams a day. Can't really tell with this food since it isn't a puppy food. I also feed her 3 times a day but is this too much? seems like a lot to me. LOL.

Re: Do I HAVE to buy puppy food?

My puppy is on symply puppy too, when she is at my dads she is free fed it with the other pup but when shes here i need her to eat it straight away otherwise the other dogs will have it. Shes not really that interested in it either but then i discovered salmon oil from fish4dogs and that resulted in empty bowls in 5 minutes

Weigh your girl and go by the info on the packet - whatever it says for her current weight, she may need a touch more since she's still a pup but not always. Feed by eye, if she looks a little ribby, add more, and if she gets a bit tubby, then drop it down a bit.

If she isn't keen on dry food on it's own, then a little wet food mixed through should help tempt her. My Bernese was, and still is, an absolute devil - he just will NOT eat completely dry kibble, he has to have something mixed in it or he would rather not eat I use a little Naturediet or similar quality wet - just a spoonful mixed in and he'll eat it no problems at all. Little swine - after 6 months of trying every trick in the book, we gave up and don't bother trying to get him to eat it just plain now.

How many times a day depends on how old your girl is - it should be 4 meals until 12 weeks, then 3 meals from 12 weeks to 6 months, and then down to 2 meals after 6 months.
