When Harvey was a little pup, he wouldn't walk anywhere either unless ROo came with us.

I wouldnt say it's a breed thing that they don't like walking my oldest took 5 weeks of daily trying to walk the others just walked no problem!! It takes time and patience with some. Do you have a friend with a dog you can walk with as they tend to follow if another is walking!!

Update: I found her harness in the airing cupboard I've been taking her out for the past few days but the rain hasn't helped because she'll sulk and run back into the house. I tried walking to see if she'd find her feet but she just ended up getting pulled along the floor (she wears a harness). I'm going to contact a local trainer and see if they can help because I'd love to take her on a nice walk every morning before work.

I read that you should sit away from the dog, facing away until the dog eventually gets bored and walks up to you, but Phoebe wouldn't get bored because she loves eating bugs

Its a pity you are not nearer to me Pheobe must be about the same age as Lily and she just loves walking. She screams if I take out the italians and she doesn't go out. She didn't like it at first but soon started to follow the boys.

We're trying to arrange a time when we're both free but it's difficult because she's always out If that fails, my sister's friend at work has a Chihuahua called Ruby so we might try taking them together.
