Re: Anyone used a Happy Dog harness?

Tried that one too I'm sure it's a great harness on a dog that it fits, I really liked the floating ring.

Re: Anyone used a Happy Dog harness?

Is your little Kenzie causing your more grief lol.
Wish I could help but I tried harnesses with my two, just the P@H ones and they were fine for a while, now they are a bit more behaved.
Just an idea, every thought of a halti instead?

Re: Anyone used a Happy Dog harness?

I can't believe you are still looking I have the one piece dog games harness for Beau and it is great so maybe try one of those, they will def take it back if it doesn't work and I felt it had less fleece than the perfect fit (which is the one I think you have?)

If Sid can make one have you thought of similar to your existing DG perfect fit but with neoprene backing so cooler and good in water? in fact DG might be able to do one for you?

Good luck!!!

Blackdogdays is on a distinguished road
Re: Anyone used a Happy Dog harness?

I use Happy Dog harnesses on my two dogs. I have used them for several years because I can get each of the pieces in a different size. I had one dog who needed a mix of M, L, and XL!

Also you can put them on without having to put anything over the dog's head, which some dogs dislike. All they have to do is put one leg through, then you do up two side buckles. If you get the right size they stay well back from the dog's armpits, so should be fairly comfortable.

I use harnesses because we are out and about a lot and they are much safer when, for example, I have to give them a bunk up over a stile into a space like a road so that I have to keep the lead on. They are safer in general too. One of my dogs has a bad neck and I don't put a collar on him at all. His tags are on his harness.

I think they are great. Sheila Harper, the only place you can get them in this country, would I am sure be very helpful about getting the right size.
