Teething?

Oscar is 4.5 months. I've noticed his toys have blood on and he's not been himself - crying a bit. His teefers are hurting him. Is there anything I can do to help him while his adult teefers are coming through?

Re: Teething?

Having just been through this with my two I found the best thing was a couple of old flannels or rang knotted, soaked in water and frozen. They loved them!

Re: Teething?

my springer pup 4 1/2 months also has a mix and match mouth of baby teeth and adult he has a puppy kong which is meant for teething and it gets filled with all sorts of goodies or there is a bone possibly nylabone brand which has small bumps on which helps soothes the gums while teething but hes also got an old trainer which he loves

Re: Teething?

Thanks, guys. I have tried the cloth in the freezer but he just licks the water. We're trying kongs and nylabones. He's still crying.

Re: Teething?

Have you trie dgiving him carrots or apples straight out of the fridge to chew? Once he likes them you could try freezing them for a while.

Or freeze whatever is in his kong.

Re: Teething?

I do freeze his kong. I didn't realise dogs could have carrots. Thank you Jackson.
