Re: Can anyone help this poor JRT??
yeah same here, i have no experience with terriers and theres a good chance he and Roz wont get on so cant take the risk. i hope someone can help him though. im sure as he is only 17 months he can be trained out of the biting.

Re: Can anyone help this poor JRT??
I anted our second dog to be a sturdy terrier type.
But if he is biting in an aggressive way when being put on the lead, I don`t think I could help and with him not being good with other dogs... Sailor is just too persistant and full on with other dogs ![]() Else I might have been able to offer him a home. |

Re: Can anyone help this poor JRT??
Im not sure how aggressive the biting is tbh. the lady said that he wasnt an agressive dog by nature but had a phobia about being on the lead, not sure why, therefore when having his lead put on or off he would bite.
i would have loved to have given him a home, the biting doesnt bother me as im sure its something he could be trained out of and its not unprovoked biting, which would be worrying, however i have my Roz to consider. Sailor they have so many JRTs on the dogs blog atm, i have been looking myself. Most of them are female though which is why i am still looking as i need a male to live with Roz. (she hates girls lol) |
