We don't go away unless dogs can come too.

When I just had Monty my sister and her hubs looked after him when we went on honeymoon but now we have 2, I wouldn't like to ask as her hubby can be a funny sod at times.

I would use a pet sitter, Tummel hates being on his own so kennels would be one of the worst places for him, pet sitters is all about the home environment which is much better. Ideally i'd rather he was with me

We use our aupair(sp?) and she stays in the house for however long or comes and visits about 4 times a day.

They always seem happy as they know her, so I know they are in good care. We have previously used kennels but when we brought them back home they seemed to loose a bit of toliet training and also when we went to pick them up all of the dogs were barking including mine, so I thought it might be bit too much for them and arranged something different.

We are going to be using a kennel in the summer for my three. We haven't been on holiday for 5 years so have never had to kennel them before. Im happy in my choice & as my three dogs have each other and will be kennelled together in their largest kennel Im sure they will be ok for 8 days. I will miss them terribly though & will most likely be phoning the kennels everyday to check on how they are.
