Re: Buying A Puppy

dont ask you enough questions or dont show you much paperwork if any, and just brings out 1 pup to show you.

Re: Buying A Puppy

Not being able to see the Mum, and being told I could only see the pup(s) when I went to buy it.

Re: Buying A Puppy

Cannot see Mum of pups
Seller unable to tell me anything about the breed etc...
If seller owned Mum and Dad, would like to more info from them
Seller not interested in what/ why I wanted a pup
Litter not looking well and not interested
Not KC Reg
No Health Tests done

Re: Buying A Puppy

not seeing the Mum (and poss Dad) with the pups

seller not asking loads of questions or not willing/able to answer questions you had

condition the bitch and pups were living in

No offence clueless hun , but neither of my dogs are KC reg , they are both from working stock , so IMHO not having the dogs KC reg isnt something to be suspicious of

Re: Buying A Puppy

ah yep I see your point there

I also kinda see where you're coming from about the male and female working dogs ... but its not like that in my case , The dad was the mans dog and his wife wanted a bitch ... they decided to let her have one litter then she's getting spayed
But I totally agree with your points now clarified

Re: Buying A Puppy

Seeing fleas on the puppy. Seeing pictures of the puppy in a kennel - not a problem for working breeds but an issue for toy breeds etc. A breeder advertising different litters/breeds every month or so. A breeder selling designer mixes regularly.
