Iv tried everything, i have even told him i will put him in kennels when she comes but he said thats not fair on the dog i cried and cried last night pleading with him to let me have him but we started to fall out and he said il move out move the dog in i felt like saying ok, but i will find a home and i have spoke to lisa and she said we do get people in your area who are looking and may need a home check so you would be good there.

Re: Just want to cry

I have just read the other thread.

I personally don't see what the problem is? The dog has mouthed a child, not bitten one, and yet you're not 'allowed' to have the dog because of your OH's daughter who stays for along weekend every 6-8 weeks?

If yopur OH is worried about his daughter, and doesn't want to risk the dog near her, the solution is simple. The dog is never allowed to come into contact with hsi daughter. For the weekends she is staying, the dogs can stay in the kitchen, behind a stairgate, and his daughter can stay the other side of the stairgate. The dogs can come itno the living room in the evenings when his daughter is in bed.

i woudl personally tell my OH to take a running jump and get the dog. If he didn't like it, he'd know what he could do. Maybe that's why we argue so much...
