Use a laptop so he sits next to me on the sofa but if I put the laptop down he's on my lap or the cat is hehe.

I can picture you all now,either sot at computers with dogs on your feet or with laptops with dogs and cats on top of you. LOL.

I can't move my chair when i am at computer desk as my two newfoundlands are usually lying round by feet and behind chair. If i need to move to get something, I always have to climb over them as i don't want to disturb them while they are sleeping!!

Mine try to sit on my laptop or between me and the laptop. I have to keep stroking them or they will put their paws on the keyboard or lick me
When they finally get tired or bored they curl up next to me on the sofa.
