j reynolds is on a distinguished road
Unhappy my gsd puppy wont eat

please any advice that anybody has would be great?
my puppy wont eat today drinking fine but shows no interest in food.
he is on natures best,raw chicken,and nature diet but wont even look at anything.
he had his 1st jab 3 days ago

As long as he is drinking plenty I wouldn't worry too much, it may be a reaction to his vaccination. If he becomes obviously poorly then I would have a word with your vet. Hopefully he will be back to normal tomorrow.

any bowel movements? or vomiting? did you also worm the pup recently?
have you tried warming the food? just to a warm temp though not too hot. or just offering some boiled chicken? GSH are very finicky to begin with and have lots of dietary issues in some of the breeding lines. sometimes they just like a bit of variety or change. it's almost as if they like the attention. as long as pup is drinking i wouldn't worry too much, just keep offering or leave it down and let the pup go for it when it's up to it. sometimes they can get a bit down after first jabs but it usually doesn't last for very long. if it continues over 48hrs I would ring the vets ASAP.

just to say yes my pup mister is back on track eating and pooing normally.
i do think it was the vaccine that made him feel awful off his food and depressed,thanks for replys and hope it helps others the same problems as my mister

Thats good news like you said it was probably the jab. Just got back from the vet with Dora (new puppy) she's just had her first jabeek:
I will be watching her like a hawk.
