Re: Puppy Food

Anyone heard of/used Nature's Harvest? Bought some for Rocky as it seems to be a very natural product:

Nature’s Harvest Puppy contains extra protein, fat and vitamins to ensure your pup grows up fit and healthy! Also ideal for highly active or breeding dogs. It is formulated to match a dog’s natural diet and is made from the freshest meat, whole brown rice, carrots and peas. Seaweed is used as a natural gelling agent! Some extra-special natural ingredients have also been added (such as Scottish Salmon Oil, yucca extract and natural herbs) to promote a healthy skin and coat and promote good gut function. Glucosamine and chondroitin also support joint health. Formulated by vets and nutritionists all the common triggers of food intolerance and allergy have been eliminated. The hypo-allergenic recipes have been designed to calm even the most sensitive stomach or skin! Ingredients: Fresh Chicken (71%), Brown Rice (17%), Peas, Carrots, Herbs, Scottish Salmon Oil, Seaweed, Minerals, Vitamins, Glucosamine, Chondroitin. Analysis: Protein 12%, Oil 8%, Fibre 1.6%, Ash 3.5%

Re: Puppy Food

Never heard of it - but sounds pretty good - as everyone knows I am a NatureDiet fan! But have noticed that a few of the better quality dry food manufactureers have recently introduced wet food into ther range.
wherre did you buy it, what size is it - and what was the cost???

I got it at Pets at Home - 6 packets (395g) for £4 - Rocky only needs up to half a packet a day - so this is good value for us.

Re: Puppy Food

Would just like to add that our vet blamed Bakers directly for my mums Jack Russell having pancreatitis. He very nearly died. Apparently its something to do with the preservatives and high fat content which they use to get those moist meaty bits! Our puppy is fed Naturediet and the cats get Royal Canin Sensitive which is the only food that our ginger moggy can keep down.
