Well after speaking to my Mum we've decided to ask the breeder what he's been feeding the pups when we go to pick him up, if we can afford to we'll carry on with that, if not we'll try and change him over to Arden Grange.

That's fine I would say, any little 'trick' to get him to eat. Once he's eating with 'gusto' though its would be best to keep to one method or the other, if dry food is what you choose to feed, and as long as its a good quality one, then nothing should be added to it as its supposed to be a balanced diet

Always read the ingrediants of your dog's food. The more natural/real the food, the better. Don't be afraid to add organic brown rice, oatmeal, and veggies. My pups look at those foods as "treats" when they are actually very very good for their bodies.
