Re: Puppy Food

Naturesdiet Puppy - IMO it is the best food available.

I don't just feed my young on it - my 8 years old is on it too - BUT - I buy in bulk and it works out less then 50pence a pack (I use 2/3 packs per day per dog)
Their coats are supurb - and that have not health issues - my elsdest does have behavior problems - BUT - this is because he was a rescue - and sadly was beyond repair when he got to me.

Yes Sue I think it is. If I want to try Natures Diet is it easy to come by, do they sell it in Pets at Home?

Re: Puppy Food

I'm struggling to get Duke off Bakers. I knew it wasn't the best dog food having joined this forum but it took our vet to make hubby realise. He basically said its rubbish (not that exact word) full of additives.

At least we are both together now on a mission to find an alternative that Duke will eat.

Re: Puppy Food

The vet said the top one's were:

Burns (i think)
James Wellbeloved
Hills
Royal Canin
Iams

What order would you rate these, good to bad?

Can Baker's cause behaviour problems?

Thanks for the list, I haven't tried him with Burns or Hills.

It can cause dogs to be a bit hyper because of all the colours and additives in it.

What's your view on Arden Grange Puppy/Junior and Burns Mini Bites

Darren
Zach has been on Arden Grange puppy/junior all his life, the breeder was feeding him on it so we continued to. He's very fit and healthy with a lovely shiny coat it has no additives and is hypoallergenic so good for pups prone to skin probs!

Re: Puppy Food

Seriously - if you want the best for your dog - feed it wet - Naturesdiet IMO is the only food that ticks all the boxes. Feeding dry is a lazy way to feed a dog.
