Our new pup is just 8 weeks and we feed her RC mini junior this is for small breeds so you may need a different one for your Boxer. she is having 3 meals a day 2 of soaked RC with raw minced lamb and 1 of soaked RC without the lamb and water at all times. as she gets older I will gradually leave of the lamb till she is on RC only. Also I will start to feed 1 meal at a time dry.
I know others may not agree but if you are feeding a good quality dry food you dont need any canned, in fact I think it could upset tummies using both.
good luck with Bailey.

I agree mary. Try Arden Grange, a good quality complete dry food that is hypoallergenic and additive-free. They do a Large Breed Puppy/Junior bag for around £18 for 15kg. We feed zach on this and hes doing well on it

Re: puppy food

Without a shawdow of doubt I would use Nature Diet puppy (wet)
Toilet is always in our case firm - (sometimes a little too). Was recommended this by a top european soft tissue specialist who I was first referred to with Miststy - we arrived at this one after many tests - and although Misty was a a special prescription food costing £2 per can she actually did better on this. They do have several recipes i.e puppy, sensitive, etc and will send you samples if you email them.
regards
sue

You may be talking me round Sue it sounds very good.
I have Dora on RC because that is what she has been weaned on to by her breeder so obviously will keep her on this for a while and it seems to suit her . stools nice and firm
I have to admit though, in my heart of hearts I think it is a very 'lazy' way to feed your dog and think it is a bit boring. Peaches, my other bitch has Natures Menu Banquet and Prize Choice tripe pieces with Burns small mixer.
When we have a roast I also give her Some veg and gravy with it.

Re: puppy food

We had this problem with our pup. We changed her to James Wellbeloved med. puppy, soaked with some water and havent looked back. Our last dog was a beutiful red brindle boxer and she had tummy probs. but J.W. suited her well. A little bio. yoghurt is good for runny poos too.

Re: puppy food

Also make sure you arent over-feeding pup as this too can be a cause of runny poo
