Re: Annoying!
Hmmm i ready don't know, mayby try spraying your in the face with a water spray bottle and telling him a stern NO?
Or try the pebbles in a bottle, that worked for my sisters dog when he kept jumping up people, He no longer does it ![]() everytime he jumped up she used to throw the bottle near him or shake it, and he used to run for it because he did'nt like the sound, so hes stopped. Maybe that will work with ur dog if he licks or gets near the kids faces? u have 2 say no every time u do this obviously, maybe after a good few shakes of this bottle he might get the idea? it may not work but again its just a suggestion. Re: Annoying!
Hi claire, isn't Cassie a worrier, if I've got the right dog, did she used to wee when you had visitors, if it is her, I would say its just anmother submissive behaviour because of her lack of confidence. When dogs are worried they can use all manner of submissive behaviours from rolling on their back and showing their bellies, slightly lifting the back leg, showing their top teeth, weeing, excessive licking and jumping up. Keep working on her confidence building and she will stop the behaviour on her own.

Re: Annoying!
agree with that, wouldnt spraying her add to the lack of confidence problem?

Re: Annoying!
yes its the same dog and i do think your right its all down to her lack of confidence and reading about a litter of labradors tonight i saw it said that the owner wanted to put them in a shed and people expressed a worry of the pups not bein socialised well by doing this, cassie was kept in a kennel outside so i wonder if this is her problem, same as i said before myself and my partner saw the warning signs whenn we bought her but thought we could offer her better than what she had she has had problem but we are working through them one by one
