I didnt feel brave enough to get close to see if there was a name and address on the collar . I hope i see it again so i can get it collected that way if its owner does come to collect they can make sure he gets a warning or something . Like you said loe it needs to off the streets causing havock . Did you ever see thoes blokes with the Rottie who went for your dog while you were with your daughter again ??

no..i aint been near the place for a couple of weeks in the daytime...so donno if they go there still in the day...they sat in the hut wiv the caretaker...then again, they could even be one of the caretakers, coz there is a few of them.

the dog warden never got back to me afta i rang him a few times and spoke wiv him ( like he said he would ) typical aye ...i was actually gonna ring again last week....forgot as always lol...if i remember tomorroa...i will ring them to see wats accured.

The RSPCA are a waste of time, do you have a local dog rescue, they are more likely to help.

I was just going to say you might be better contacting a rescue, they often will take them in and check for microchip etc then look to rehome
it's awful whats happening but the poor dog is probably cold and hungry which might not be helping its bad mood :-)

not sure about another rescue place the only one i can think of is the blue cross but its quite a way from me , the RSPCA is only 2 mins from me , they did take the one i handed in a few months ago with no problem they were really nice and helpfull , but im not about to go putting a lead on this fella and risking him having a go at me , He looked in quite good nick i dont think he,s been stray for long which is why he may have gotten loose and not dumped .

I'm glad that your dog wasn't injured. Whenever I take my dog for a walk at the dog parks i get worried about another dog trying to fight with my dog. I don't know how I would react. Have you seen the stray ever since?

Didnt see it today as we didnt go to the park we did some lead walking for an hour , i took them to the vets and had them weighed and walked back again , it wears them out mentally when they lead walk cos they have to concentrate more lol. but i will keep my eyes open for the little bugger .
