Hi I was just wondering what age do you start introducing water to your puppy?

Also what age did you stop giving them milk.

Ours have water when they are being weaned we dont give milk, what milk are you giving pup, cows milk is not good for them

Goats milk this is what the breeder gave her.

I never gave Oscar milk. He's always drunk water (with me). How old is your pups now?

She is 8 weeks old.

Ahh right. I got mine at almost 9 weeks so perhaps that's why he was already on water.

How is she doing?

Shes doing great thanks. Really settled in well she follows me everywhere should of called her shadow

i gave my kai water at 8 weeks old, thats when i got him.and i did this because thats what my vet adviced me to do

Surely a pup shouldn't leave mum if they still need milk? Pups should be weaned well before 8 weeks, he should have had access to water before he left the puppy farm and should have had access to water as soon as he got to your home.

Ours dont have any milk at all they are weaned straight onto puppy food with water available at all times so they leave us with a bottle of our water for the new owners to wean them onto their water over the next few days
