Re: Head battered dont no what to do

I would scatter the ashes at Zac's favourite place eg a certain area he liked to walk.
I believe it may help you move forward, everyone grieves differently though

Re: Head battered dont no what to do

aww hun im so sorry you're going through this

We keep Buds ashes above our bed along with his framed pedigree , a few photo's and an angel border collie ornament , soppy maybe , but I like feeling he's still close , even though I know he isnt really ... its hard to describe , anyway I find it comforting , obviously the same isnt true for you

maybe taking his ashes to his favourite place and scattering them there will bring you peace of mind & it'll always be a special place you can go to remember him

My in-laws have buried the ashes of their 2 dogs in a little area in the garden and planted a rose bush there

Aww hun, i feel for you i really do. I am already thinking of what i am going to my dog. He is 10 years old, i now i shouldn't be thinking about it, but i need to fell like a iknow what i'm doing.
Did you have a local dog park? Or a placehe would always love or long to go? I know that if Chester goes i am going to put him in the small park across the road, he loves to run back and forth, catching a ball.

how sad x

my mum has her dogs ashes by her bedside...

wen my mum had mia's ashes returned, we opened the lid and set her spirit free in the house again, we felt so much better after doing that.

Re: Head battered dont no what to do

I know how you feel. I still have my St Bernard`s ashes. When our Corgi died we buried her in the garden and planted a Hebe on top. Its really lovely cos that Hebe is huge with loads of flowers every year.
I think my Saint will be buried and we`ll plant something nice on top in memory of him.

It is a hard decision to make ,but whatever you decide you know that his soul is waiting for you at the bridge.I'm sure that Zac would be happy whatever you decided to do!
I feel for you as it is a hard decision to make!
