hi we have recently brought a boxer puppy. he is 17 weeks old. i would just like to know if anyone elsehas got a boxer? i would like to know everythink about the breed. many thanks

I have 2 (mum (7) & daughter who's 3) Weve had Boxers for 17 years and think they are a fantastic breed, very loyal and very funny.
Must admit they can be hard work as pups (especially when theres 7 of them being weaned etc!!!!) but once they get a bit older they are great. Although they dont grow up at all really and still do things to make you laugh even at 7!!!!!

Boxers can be trained easily with perserverance. Our girls party piece is to give "high 5"!!!!

Don't have one but I think they are a fantastic breed. Always full of energy. Look forward to seeing some pics.

hi, thanks for replys. yeah he is a bit mad. lol. i have just taught him 2 shake hands. i also have a 20 week old westie. just a bit worried when she comes into season. he is just brilliant with my children. all in all a great dog so far lol

we have a white boxer roxy she has just turned 1 we had her from a pup and we love her to bits, she is really dosy and will walk into the door or washing machine!!! but the kids love her and they play for hours but she knows when to stop they are so full of energy and always looking for her next adventure but they are great enjoy!!

i used to breed boxers,
next time the boxer gets excited look out for the kidney bean dance, the boxer will turn half way around and walk nearly sideways as it wags it's tail. Boxers are very loyal and very gentle dogs,
they can be easily trained and they are very bright!

i totally agree with you they are very loyal and loving dogs she does get soooo jelious though she always wants a fuss lol i will look for the dance lol thanks

I love Boxers too always had them in the family, we had them when we were children, fantastic dogs i love there bounciness

yeh lol i love it when roxy is playing and she goes to bounce at you with her front paws!

The other good thing about a boxer, is they are always so pleased to see you! always no matter how long you have been gone 5 minutes to 5 hours, Rosie would follow me around so excited that i was back!
She knew that i had a treat she always knows when i had treats for her!
there she would follow and wag her tail! then when she saw her treat! and would sit and and wait, then she would bark for her treat and always begged!
Boxers are great dogs, i loved Rosie to bits!
