Re: boxer

hiya

We have 2 boxers, Tony who is a 9 year old rescue dog, and Curtis who is a 14 week old show hopeful.

They are such great dogs to have around, and soooooo much fun!

Re: boxer

I have always had boxer crosses. Presently a ridgeback/boxer and before him a labrador/boxer. Both have been excellent dogs so soppy (which I am sure is the boxer part). One day I would love to have a pedigree boxer.

My ridgeback/boxer is addicted to chasing the light from a torch. I am sure this is the boxer in him, does anyone else boxer do so?

Re: boxer

we have always had boxers in our family and got Ricky when i moved in with my partner. he is now 21 months old and an absolute treasure! he has such great character. He loves running about in the field after a ball! He is a typical boxer, who forgets that he is 30kg, coming to sit right on top of you if you're sat on the floor, or swinging his bum into you when he is really excited to see you! Clumsy and boisterous! Wiping his drool on my legs or the sofa or the bed as he walks past it having eaten something! but, it's all part and parcel of the wonderful boxer. He's so friendly, great with other dogs, children, people, and is doing great with my 16 week old bulldog!
Me and my family love boxers as a breed.
We still go obedience training with him, and as a pup he was hard work. He is a nightmare on the lead even now after all the training. But that's my only moan about him! He sits, lies down, paws, high 5's, leave's, stays, waits.
brilliant breed, but need good sound training, as does any dog!
