The pups don't live in squallor because the proprietors are putting on an act for the unsuspecting public. The parents however are often living in the most horrendous conditions. Have you ever had a look at the many tears rescue site? They pick up the pieces for some of the breeding bitches and studs. Unbelievable.

A puppy farm that is 'pretty good' a bit of a contradiction in terms, most people on here would like them all to be permanently closed down, well I would .mad:

I`m not getting into a heated debate. I went there not knowing what to expect, fell in love with Harvey and wanted to give him a loving home rather than one as a stud dog.

We did actually phone many tears about a dog. It didn`t mention weather the dog was good with kids so we phoned anyway just to find out and she instantly dismissed us, "that dog cant go to a home with children", she didn`t even ask how old our kids were. They could have been 18 and 21 for all she knew; and then she hung up on us.
I would have loved to have rescued a dog from there. Had a rescue dog before.

imo it looks like quite a nice place and looks as though the dogs are treated well...

Probably because most "Pugalier" breeders are puppy farmers or BYB's. What's wrong with a pedigree breed? A Pug or a Cavalier? Are you aware of all the health problems in Pugs and Cavaliers that the parents should be tested for?

Re: Buying a dog from this place?

my mum says she only wants a cross breed due to health problems, i know all dogs are prone to them but that is what she says and i understand personally i prefer mongrels

to be truthful Leah both these breeds have health problems and I would be worried about the mix and what health problems you would have down the line mixed breeds are not healthier than pure breds, even though some people think they are

I see where you are coming from, I am very aware of all the health problems both breeds have but lots of people who have them who I have seen online say they are happy and healthy and I think I would prefer a cross breed anyhow

Well good luck in your quest to find one you have had the opinions of the members of the forum, you must make up your own mind now on what you are going to have and where you are going to get it from.
