We have come home and they have completely stripped our bed of all bedding and decided to chew a massive great hole in our mattress Now they have access to 2 human beds, our spare one that cost us about £350 and not the most comfortable mattress and our bed that is heaven to sleep in and cost us £1500. Guess which one has taken the beating??!!

Yes I love my dogs, but sometime I really don't like them much
Bad dogs, what can i say its just typical they would go for the dear one did they no when you walked in what they had done, if tess as done somthing she looks at me really guilty.

They didn't look guilty and were still going mad with excitement, however when my OH went upstairs they started acting guilty straight away and as soon as they heard my OH shout "OH MY GOD" they ran out into the back garden

Thanks Don't worry I would probably laugh too. OH has stitched it all up as a make do job, good job he can sew cuz I'm useless, and if it has just been me that had found it I wouldn't have a clue how to fix it

B*gger!!! That was a costly one! Did they accept cuddles etc when you first came in before their misbehaviour was discovered? Do you know which one it was, or do you think it was a team effort? Do you think you'll manage to forgive them, or will we see you in the Cat Chat area from here on in???

I had a friend in melbourne whose father was a horse vet. She left her dog (an Australian Cattle Dog, about 4 years old) at her parents' house while they went to another relative's home for christmas dinner. When they got back they discovered Marli had chewed into dozens of pieces (ie completely destroyed) a probe used to scan the bellies of pregnant horses.... a piece of equipment worth around $35,000 (about £20k) eek:... Merry Christmas and all that... Marli was eventually forgiven, but was in the soup for quite a long time. She couldn't figure out what all the fuss was about

Yes they were all cuddles before the mayhem was discovered. We are guessing that it was a team effort. Logan is an expert at getting all the bedding off the bed whereas Piper has never bothered so we think he was the reason the bed was stripped, now we think that Piper probably started chewing on the button things on the matress which eventually broke off meaning she could dig away at a split mattress. We don't think Logan will have taken part in the chewing, but if he had left the bed sheets alone she wouldn't have been able to get where she chewed so both in the dog house at the moment.

LOL I'm sure they will be forgiven come teatime, so will stay in the dog chat
