Google for the British Institute of Professional Dog Trainers (BIPDT) and ask them for advice.

Any decent dog training course will make sure you have sufficient and varied experience working with a training club first. Have you much training experience? If not, I'd recommend this first-contact training classes in your area to see if you can attend lessons with your dog, then as you are more confident you may be able to help teach others. This is the main requirement for many of the training organisations such as APDT. This way you will have knowledge about different breeds, handling methods, ways dogs learn etc and will help you a lot in any courses you choose to study.

If you do decide to do a course, Bishop Burton college in Yorkshire run a distance learning foundation degree which is very practical-based and is well received by many organisations - Foundation Degree in Canine Behaviour and Training
