This so not amazing, but to me it is. Toby's mastered a million other commands but just could NOT get 'Down.' unless I put my hand on the floor infront of him...

But today he did it!!! I said sit then down and he dropped to the floor without me moving my hand at all! It was more like a WHOOMPH to the floor, but he was down so I counted it!!

So proud of my little boy.

Awww I know what you mean, last week Cola actually fetched her ball and brought it back to me!
I was sooo excited and when I told my OH his eyes just glazed over and I know hes not really listening but to dog owners its a big deal!! LOL

Lol when he did it I went crazy jumping up and down and running round him and squealing GOOD BOY! YOU'RE SUCH A GOOD BOY! and Toby got all hyped up and my sister was staring at me like "...they're both crazy...".

Good stuff, got all this ahead of me!

Must admit I never taught Cola the word down as she associates down with "get off" - didnt wanna confuse her!

Wowzers - well done you. Down is one that we just cant get at all but I really put it down to my handling skills.
