Even I have to pay VAT and I work at a bloody vets lol.

No I agree, it won't change anything but fair play for trying. VAT is likely to stay because of the whole theory behind it - if anyone's interested in it I'll explain - and, just out of curiosity, why vets bills and not pet food, show entries or gear?
The VAT in Ireland is 21% so be thankful for small mercys.

Signed too just incase - and I do pay VAT on dog food and toys,leads etc as I buy form a wholesalers in bulk - still works out cheaper than what the pet shops are selling for
