i saw both parents as thry were family pets that lived together and i saw there papers, i took her home and they called about a week later for the kennel club name i wanted for her, we kept in contact for a few weeks (me calling them) and then when i tried one day when i called the number was no longer in use !!! i have contacted the kennel club myself with no luck in traceing them. so my girl has no papers, the stud has papers and belongs to a friend so im not sure what the price is as i cant register the pups,

If your breeder did register the puppies the KC should be able to give you details. Did you get a pedigree from her as this might help . Even though you have the stud dog details you can't register pups if your bitch isn't registered so it's worth finding out.
