Re: Staffordshire Terriers

Sadly i think i am going to have to cross ye 'ole staffy off the list then

Id say the dog has to be able to look up and take a treat from my hand when walking next to me without me having to bend over. This is not some super-lazy habit i have developed i just noticed this morning while teaching some heel work with Daisy that anything not able to take a treat from my hand while walking without taking its front feet off the floor is a tad too small for me !!

So ppl. Fat whippets Where they at ?

Anyone know of any successful, happy, whippet crosses ?

Re: Staffordshire Terriers

Staffies are meant to be short and stocky.. Not tall and lean.

Re: Staffordshire Terriers

Argh, sadly greyhounds seem to fit most of my criteria. They jst look so ill though. So scrawny, skin and bones. Meh. Not crossing them off the list but...i hardly find them pleasurable to look at.

Im loving the look of those whippet crosses though:

Whippet and Lab ?

This is pretty much exactly what i was looking for Not done any research into temperment or health issues ect ect yet though.

Hehe, yes !

But now of course i have got to find said breeds !

Thanks for the direction guys.
