Re: a problem with rain

I've got an 20 month male and a 7 month female - both neutered - and occasionally they try to hump each other - I don't worry about it.
It doesn't bother them, they don't do it very often, I'm not a behaviourist but I think they are trying to say I'm the boss of this game! As they seem to do it when they've been playing rough and tumble.

Re: a problem with rain

It's just hormones. Girl puppies do it a lot and older girls sometimes do it if not taught not to.

Mine will hump one of my others if they are about to come into season, which is a really good indicator for me as then I know a few days before and before there are any outward signs.

Re: a problem with rain

I remember asking a similar question about my female pup she started humping her bed and I thought it was odd... apparantly it's quite normal.

She only does it to her bed, not the cats, furniture or us lol. I just try to say "no" when she does it.
