Hi All,

MY older dog has been in kennels lots of times and loves it but in a few weeks we will be going away for the weekend and putting both our dogs in (Usher is 8 month old Labrador). He loves his crate at home and sleeps in that but won't have that at the kennels so not sure if this will upset him etc although him and Otis are going in together (I have a double kennel).
Can anyone suggest things I could do or try to help his stay be as comfortable as possible without upsetting his norma routines? I'm making sure he's fed the same, same times etc and taking his toys in with him. Thanks in advance,

Why not take his crate - his little bit of home in a new place?
Give them something with the home smell on it, just as you would give a puppy something with the litter smell. If Otis is happy in the kennels I'm sure Usher will see it as holiday too.

Otis loves the kennels, he thinks of it like a holiday (They walk him 3 times a day and I only manage 2 times LOL!!)

I'm going to enquire about his crate I think,
