I asked this on the other thread but though I would start a new one,as it got a bit lost
What purpose are they bred for,what valid reason is there to breed these crossbreeds and sick a fancy name on them and charge OTT Prices ?

Why not choose a Good Reputable Breeder of one or the other,why choose a mixture of both,knowing that you don't quite know what you will end up with ?

What's the attraction for new owners ?

Just curious as to what they are hoping to achieve by breeding them and also what the attraction is for new owners.

I doubt anyone would own up to it as I doubt there is any reason other than to supply the current market.

Sadly, people will always want the latest fashion, or something 'different' and saying a labradoodle or cavachon or whatever sounds much more fun than saying lab x poodle or cav x bichon etc....
