Is there someone out there that can give me a list of dog foods and also plants that are poisionous..

I know some of the foods
Chocolate
Grapes
Raisins
Onions

Id like to know myself especially about the plant thing.. and i also want to give people a list when they come to collect their puppy.

You might also want to have a look at the general info on the web from the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (google ASPCA). They have a Poison Control Centre with articles such as A Safe Home.

wow, i totally didnt know grapes were poisonous to dogs. My dog LOVES them, he literally begs for them all the time! he plays with them, then sucks them before eating them, its very cute but now im concerned. If they are bad for hm, what are the symptoms and why would he beg for them? im a bit dubious to be honest. Mind you, he is HUGE (he's an irish wolfhound) so maybe they dont effect him as much. Also, he has eaten a lot of chocolate in his life (he always finds the advent calenders or presents under the tree at xmas) and now we are aware of the chocolate issue we hide it but again, he has never had an adverse reaction (although obviously, he may feel awful after for all i know).

I am sure he will have to eat an excessive amount though too make them poisonous........ xxx
