Puppy Feeding
Hi all
Well Cookie our adorable Labrador puppy has been with for about 10 days now. I am currently feeding him 4 times a day as he had been by the breeder. I am just after a bit of advise as he only really eats 3 times a day the 4th feed (evening feed) hes not really interested in maybe eats 1 or 2 of the biscuits. Can I cut the feeds down to 3 already or should I still keep offering 4 ?? I'm sure he would enjoy the 3 more. Thanks again guys for any advice given |

Re: Puppy Feeding
Are the meals evenly spaced out? eg 7am.. 12...5pm..10pm..
which meal is it that he wont eat? When ive had lab puppies they have eaten every one of these meals.. but if it is a certain one he doesnt want to eat.. maybe replace it with a bit of raw minced beef instead of his kibble (only a bit) and im sure he will gobble it up |

Re: Puppy Feeding
Toby is 10 weeks (today) and he's on three meals a day because 4 meals really didn't suit him, he wouldn't eat hardly any of two of them.
As long as he's getting the same amount of food as he was, I don't see why it makes any difference, and now there's always a clean bowl! ![]() |
