Wipes are real handy but dont work very well on the long fur breeds, and white long fur gets really stained.

Re: Do u bath ur dog?

Mine get bathed if we're going to a champ show .If we are going to an open show only the predominately white ones get a bath if they need it but the solid coloured ones don't get bathed for open shows. Button only has her white legs washed as if I was her black bits she gets dandruff.

On the subject of bathing can anyone sugest a ay to get a white greyhound white. he had an accident one day and wee ed on his bed then lay in it. That stained his coat yellow and now he just looks mucky he wont go back white.. I don't show him alot after his road accident last year but I would like him to look clean

Re: Do u bath ur dog?

I very rarely bath them, Jayjay had to be bathed the other day after he rolled in something really disgusting though. I find (especially with Jayjay) bathing them makes their coats look and feel horrid, I've tried numerous shampoos, medicated ones, natural ones the results are always the same.

They get filthy day in day out but an hour later they almost always look good as new. Even if they roll in fox poo I don't tend to bath them, I just make sure they go in some water while we're out and that takes most the smell away! It's what having dogs is all about!

Re: Do u bath ur dog?

I have had Foxy for about 9 weeks roughly and have bathed her about 3 times.

The first 2 times was due to her being travel sick and then stinking of sick afterwards because she got it in her fur! The 3rd time was just to freshen her up because we were going to stay at my boyfriends, she was a bit pongy... that horrible doggy smell.

She has a good few beauty products lol, fresh wipes, dog cologne (wow it smells lush! and it's pink too how appropriate!) and more that I use on her in between baths.

She is a long haired breed so will probably need more baths than a short haired dog.
