Re: How far did you travel to buy your dogs?
My aunty decided she wanted a Bichon Frise earlier this year and only wanted a KC reg with parents that could be seen etc...a good breeder in other words. I went with her and she ended up travelling to Llanelli in Mid Wales which is about 4 hours from where we lived. There were others much closer but once she saw the photographs of her little boy heart heart and mind were made up.
I personally would not have thought to travel that far but with the two I have I would go to the endso f the arth to get them Sam A Dog With A Blog |

Re: How far did you travel to buy your dogs?
We travelled about 70 miles, 140 miles round trip. Leeds to Barton on Humber.
We set of Friday evening at about 17.00 and got home at about 22.00 on 12 August 2005. Best trip I've ever made. ![]() ![]() Sue |

It looked like a weeks worth! LOLI dont know why people feed the dogs before going to a new home, knowing they will be in the car for possibly a long time. I had to pay for it to be steam cleaned the next day ... Ive never seen so much sick since she must of stored that all up. |

Re: How far did you travel to buy your dogs?
I flew from Cyprus to Poland, took a night flight on the way there, arrived around 6am, slept all day at a very nice small B&B, and then the breeders met me with Harley at the airport later that evening.
Harley was great with the travelling I have to say, and I made sure we flew back on a night flight so it was his sleep time. The only annoying thing was to see him come out on the baggage carousel, peering through the grill on his carrier. He was sitting calmly looking out and not anxious, but I did have stern words about that ![]()
