Exclamation urgent advice needed

I am talking to a home breeder to buy their new born puppy.

however, what is rare that the puppy's mom gave birth to only one child. The breeder said it is because of timing.

do you think it is ok for a Labrador? will this puppy will have potential physical or mental illness, because a Labrador usually give birth to 8-10 puppies.

I am about to make decision to buy the puppy, pls give me some advice.

thanks a lot,

Re: urgent advice needed

Dogs can have singleton litters it's pretty common even in large breeds like labs. A concern might be lack of dog manners because its litter mates weren't there to teach it but apart from that there's nothing wrong with it
