No.

lol

But personally as a student if people trusted me I would be happy to walk dogs local to me to help people out when i am walking my dogs if they didnt have the time (or if they were away for whatever reason). Because i love dogs and am very responsible and have experience in handling awkwurd dogs...
however i wouldnt expect people to trust me with their dogs... and i wouldnt expect them to give me abuse either.. just a simple no will do

She isnt going about this responsibly and im sure is naive to think people would trust her.. but seriously.. i just think some people are too ready to jump on someone who does or says the slightest thing wrong or not to your liking.. (minority)

That's what a forum is about... expressing your opinions... and that's all people have done in this thread. I think it says it all really, near enough everyone has said the same thing.

When you make a thread, you have to be prepared that not everyone is going to agree. They are going to give their opinion, and you may not always like it... after all that's what a forum is about?

If we all agreed on everything it would get rather boring wouldn't it lol. In a way, it wouldn't be worth saying anything because we know everyone would agree D

Re: Responsible pug walker available

Our 2 Dalmatians are our babies (we don't have children so the dogs are our kids ) and I even got overprotective and panicy when my in-laws had mine for 2 nights while we went away for a family wedding. I gave them sooooo many instructions about how to walk them (they have always had dogs so god knows why I was like this ). I didn't even drink at the wedding just in case I had some emergency phone call and I would have to drive all the way back home

So in conclusion I would never let a stranger walk my 2. Even if my leg was half hanging off I would still do it myself

If the OP is researching the breed then that is great rather than just jumping straight in. I'm not sure if Pugs have the same, but Dalmatian welfare can always organise you to meet a dallie, or even register as a foster carer which will give you more chance of finding out if the breed is for you. Maybe there is a Pug specific welfare that they could contact?

Re: Responsible pug walker available

I wouldn't let anyone take my baby in a pram out for a walk nor would I let anyone take my dog out for a walk - I'm so mean I wouldn't let a young boy hold his lead. we were walking along a main road and whilst I can control my dog I wasn't confident a young boy could.

Not quite the same scenario but the answer would still be the same no thanks.
