My 14wk old puppy won't pee/poo outside, even when i've had him out for hours, he still waits till he gets home & is now refusing to use any training pads. & Everytime i leave the room (even for 2 minutes), he will pee/poo the floor within seconds. He needs to sleep in a different room from me at night but when i get up in the morning there is pee & poo absolutely everywhere. I leave training pads everywhere but he goes out his way not to use them (even though he used them only a few weeks ago)

PLEASE GIVE ME SOME ADVICE

He Is A Jack Russell

Not sure if i can help but has your pups routine changed at all recently to maybe stress him out a little? also when you say he waits till he gets home, do you take him away from your house/garden to have a pee etc?

On the one hand it sounds as if he's doing it when you go out of the room because he stressed and doesn't want you to know it's him (if he does it when your not there you can't know its him sort of thing )
On the other it sounds as if somthing has stressed him and he doesn't feel secure going to the toilet anywhere else other than your home.

I've Had Him For 4wks & Wasn't Pad Trained But Started Using Them Within 3-4 days. The Only Thing Thats Changed In His Routine Is Him Going Outside (8 days ago).

I Don't Have A Garden So Usually Take Him Walks.

He is still young but he should be starting to house train.
I always put puppys out every half hour ,go in the garden with him and wait til he poos or wees dont matter how long it takes as soon as he does it make a real fuss of him and giv a treat keep doing this and he should get the hang of it,also as soon as he wakes put him straight out..hope this help

The Only Time He Did The Toilet Outside Was After I Walked Him For 3 hours (I Gave Him Lots Of Attention & Treats) But That Was 5 Days Ago & Hasn't Did It Again. I Have Children So Staying Out With Him For Hours Isn't Ideal

Do you leave food down all day?

Is he crate trained?

Most dogs will wee want a wee when they wake so even if you just pop out in the street for say 10 mins he may click this way rember lots of fuss and treats he will soon get the hang of it
