Right we have Teddy toy poodle who is tiny he belongs to my 27 year old daughter who lives with us and our family dog is our whippet girl shes 3 we lost our last whippet boy in march this year very sad broke my heart,Teddy is very attached to Tippy and we were thinking about getting another dog as we are in the middle of a house move to the warwickshire country side we have bought a hosue and stables with 70 acres of land for our horses and we are going to run a livery business....phew are you keeping up

I wanted another whippet as i love them but we are not sure how one will take to Teddy and as we wanted one for company for him as Tippy is just not interested in playing with him at all she loves to sleep all day after a long walk!

So my question is shall we go for another whippet or go for a smaller type so Teddy will have a friend...perhaps another poodle daughter wants a black girl??

I think it wont matter a jot what breed you get if you are getting a puppy - all puppies love to play and as Teddy is the dog already there then the pup would get used to his size.
I know folks who have Rotts and Chi together without a problem

I know of a breeder who has a black boy (10 wks) if you're interested..?

definitely go for the whippet.

I have some pups 4 months available if thats the way you decide to go. They were all sold but I had that many people let me down that I still have 3 to home. Or I often here of people that have pups available
