how long

hi all, on average how long does a bitch's season last, and how long before the hormones settle down, our girl is/was in her first season, 3 weeks yesterday since first spot of blood, but she still holds her tail over if you stroke her rear end, and is a bit grumpy with other dogs,

Mine are normally bleeding for 3 weeks then have the fertile week so its about 4 weeks with mine but i wait 5 weeks just to be careful

the whippets and greyhounds are usyally 3 weeks but the setter has to be different she has had 3 seasons so far the first was 5 weeks the second 6 weeks and the 3rd about 5 weeks again..She just has to be different OH wants to have a litter of her I want to have her speyed
