Hi All
i was looking at another post on the poundies - to say this has opened my eyes (and broke my heart) is an understatement to say the least. There are 14 dogs who face destruction tomorrow - mostly staffie crosses. They are desperately looking for places for them in rescue centres.

They are all abandoned or stray so there is little known hence why rescue centres are preferred so an assessment can be made however i think they are also considering emergency foster...

Does anyone know any rescue centres with spaces or is anyone able to help these little dogs! I have offered to take one if they will let me as a temp fosterer rather than see them destroyed.

I know - both of mine are from breeders but in the future it will definetly be rescue .... I am hoping they will let me help with this i havent been home checked or anything before but i have said they can do that tomorrow - or tonight even.
Its not ideal for me but i will do it while they find something - give them a few days to sort something!

I will keep an eye on whats happening and let everyone know

I wish i could help these poor mites i've just asked o/h but we just can't at the mo and we don't know of anyone that would be willing.
i'm hoping will every bone in my body that they are helped.

My old staffy is a rescue but now with 3 DDB too I just cannot take any more in right now Hope they find homes.

Well there are 9 dogs that the clock is ticking for ... they have found temporary foster care for 4 of them not so only 5 left and they have not given up and are working really hard to find people to take these dogs.

I might be taking one which would only mean 4 left however i have 2 pups who haven't had kennel cough protection (as this was in no way planned) so i am a bit worried about them and wont compromise them ... the rescue centre are looking at other options and are checking to see how viable it is for me to take them ...

Does anyone know anything about this? Any advice gratefully received.

Btw the dogs are in Huddersfield
