Dudley & His Duck

Hey Everyone

Thought I'd update you on Dudley.

He's slowly getting better as regards the nipping and will take a telling now, so that's good news.

We went and checked out puppy classes for him tonight, but weren't sure about them, so will go along this coming Tuesday and check out another class to see if that will be better for him.

He's sleeping really good at night now, although still waking up around 5.30am, but what we do now is get up, let him out, don't make a fuss, no lights or anything on, and then put him back to bed, usually we can get another hour or so in bed by doing this! lol

He's able to "sit" and "down" and I'm slowly working on his "wait"

We had quite a few people round last night and I'm pleased to say he wasn't over excited, but we had warned them not to make him too hyper or else he would end up mouthing them! lol

Here's a pic of him playing with his favourite toy and getting his tummy tickled!

LOL

I know what you mean, he's already difficult to pick up!

Only thing with Bernese is that you're not supposed to let them jump up on anything or in and out of the car, so we'll have to keep on lifting him for a good few months to come yet!

Dudley is a really hansome boy!
Sounds like you are doing great with the training, hope you find a class soon.
I like the picture of him on his back - he looks so cute and fluffy.

Thanks!

He was a little horror this morning though at 5.30 - when I let him out, he had no intention of "weeing", all he wanted to do was play and he would not take a telling! eek: - kept wanting to jump up all the time, which I guess is easier to stop him doing than nipping.
