Re: dog barking complaint? help.

They don't sound like very nice people, watch your dog doesn't eat them as they are poisonous.
As for the barking complaint,a dog has to bark for 20 mins or more consistantly for it to be classed a nuisance.
Your neighbours will have to fill in log sheets with times and dates etc,it will also need proving by way of witnessing to establish that there is indeed a problem with your dog barking.

Re: dog barking complaint? help.

Before problem arises because of your dog's excessive barking, I think it should be given immediate solution. One of the best ways to control dog's excessive barking is through using the Craig's Paw Old Fashioned Bark Stopper. I'm pretty sure this will work really well on your dog as it does to mine. It is so easy to use. When your dog starts to bark excessively, simply pick up the Craig’s Paw Old Fashioned Bark Stopper, give it a shake, and regain control of your dog’s barking. It’s just that simple, dog barks, you shake hand, and dog stops. To know more about this product, just visit this site Humane, simple, and green pet products..

Re: dog barking complaint? help.

This is a VERY old thread and if anyone else has issues with barking dogs in the UK, first stop should be this article from DEFRA:

All u have ta do is figger out a way to try keep her quiet the magority of the time or risk losing her or ur home.

if u have to go out at all to work or wat ever then maybe try giving her a kong filled wiv her fav treat...or peanut butter...if poss record her wile ur away to see if this works or not, At least recording her can at least give u an idea on a way to act on her behaiviour? maybe drop her round to family or m8s who can watch her wile ur out if she continues to bark or bring in a behaiviourist????
Quite obvious you did not pay attention to English lessons!

Re: dog barking complaint? help.

there`s not much you can do short of apply to get a new house since they`ll probably continue to report you. it`s not nice but some people like to cause trouble where there isn`t any.

i lived below an alcoholic and her dog would bark non stop through the night and scratch on the floor, i`m not kidding not once did it stop. i was so close to tears some nights cause i couldn`t sleep as you`ve said she only barks normally so i don`t see why they`re complaining
