hi there havent been on for a while ( been so busy ) hope everyone is well will be getting another GSD next year and the woman we got our current one from has just had a sable and its gorgeous - a great big fluffy ball with a dark face but i am unsure on what they look like as adults whether to get one next year or not does anyone have any pics of pups and adults?

when we were getting our gsd we asked the breeder how he will look like when his an adult but she ssaid its gard to tell as they change alot while growing.
She had a pup which was mostly black and is now as an adult mostly light brown.
Ours has a pretty much black face now too but slowly u can see the brown coming through.
Its really hard to tell

I do believe a lot of GSD's change colour as they grow older and mature, so it can be very difficult to tell. If the woman is a breeder, you could ask if she's had any sables from previous litters, usually breeders keep in touch with where their dogs go and receive updates from current owners. Perhaps she will have pics of any previous sables as adults.

U could google the sable gsd on the google pictures. Thats what i did to get as many ideas about how he will look as an adult as possible.
