Are you considering buying a puppy

Be warned, I have NOT watched it, I have been advised not to, I am still quite emotional from losing my princess.

But if you are considering more reason to carefully check where the stock has come from
Please don't give your money to the puppy farmers and don't be fooled by them either,.

Ive been watching some of the other videos concerning rescue homes and the dogs that get left behind
Murdered by an injection which brings on a heart attack (you cant even call that euthanasia) then thrown in a bin

So sad

Re: Are you considering buying a puppy

i couldnt get that link to work, but i watched some of the others. i dont think i have cried so much about something i have see on the pc before. it was heart breaking.

i would love to adopt a dog, perhaps an older dog even, but places like dogs trust make it so hard to do so. i mean, i wouldnt be an "adequate" owner in their eyes, but i know that i could give that dog a fantastic life.

Re: Are you considering buying a puppy

What EVERYONE need s to do is to stop giving the puppy farmers their money Do not buy from Puppy farmers of Pet Shops, .

I wa is a very difficult situation last year, a lady who had lost a dog of just 2 years she emailed me pictures of three puppies she was considering for my advise, the moment I saw them I knew they were PF (the breeder had spun such a tale and oh was it convincing). To make it worse I even reconized the woman holding up one of the pups so there was no doubt, One pup was roughly sticthing about an inch below its botton eye - I asked for an explaination and was told it endrwhateverthaticantspell so I'll say cherry eye or third eyelid. Load of rubbishthe stictching was an inch away from the eye. Which brings me to ask - what do i do, Do I stop these puppies getting a wonderful home by telling the truth to someone who has asked.
Or do I just let her buy the pup and cause even more misery for the next litter, and the next and the next.

sometime you know I hate people!
regards
DT

what a difficult situation, i was thinking the same thing when i was watching the videos on youtube. i kept thinking, if i went into one of those places, my heart would be telling me to save one but your right, the more money they make, the more dogs are going to be used this way.
