Re: Urine

She is 11 weeks old, I wasnt sure if this would be a side effect from her first injection?

Oh! You sound like you're in a very similar situation to me a couple of weeks ago

Foxy was fine, then a day or two after her first injection she started urinating very frequently. Each day it became even more frequent. In the end, she was peeing every 10 minutes sometimes peeing even more than that.

I took her to the vet, she had a UTI. Got given some antibiotics and it cleared up within a week.

I had to go back to the vets for her 2nd injection the day of her last antibiotic. So of course her UTI had cleared up. I was worried that it would cause it again, because I convinced myself it was the stress of the first injection that caused it in the first place. I asked my vet and she said "no, dogs don't normally get UTI's through stress, cats do" So I asked her if it could have been anything to do with the first injection, she said no.

Weird that you might be going through the same thing though.

Get her to the vets before Wednesday if you can, because if it is a UTI it's not nice for her, she will be in some discomfort and will carry on urinating like this till then.

Not sure if you have ever had a UTI before, I have and they ARE NOT nice. Very irritating down below.

Let us know how she gets on.

Re: Urine

I have another urine question.

Apparently, Sunny's urine has a lot of acid in it. Apparently, it doesn't effect him but it's ruinning our garden lol. It now has brown patches all over it. How can I stop it? I've heard pouring hot water over it stops it and breaks down the acid, is this true?
