I feed dry at the moment they are on Autuarky as they need to lose some weight and this seems to do the trick. Some people have issues with Bakers I do not as I say whatever suits your dog is best. My friend shows her Paps and all are fed Bakers

Foxy eats Purina Pro Plan Puppy Small Breed. Seems okay, I'll stick with it if I she continues to be okay on it.

Re: do you feed dry food to your dogs

If You Read Some Of The Other Posts In This Topic x Silver x - Other People Do Feed Bakers To There Dogs , Like JANICE199 Had A GSD And Fed Him/Her On It And Has 2 Poodles And Feeds Them Both On Bakers

I Used To Feed Jaspa On Pedigree But Now I Have Found Out Its One of The Worst Dry Food You Can Feed A Dog ... He Now Has Home Cooked Food With Measured Out 'Ingrediants' To Make Sure He Gets Everything He Needs , And From Changing Foods He Has Lost A Whole Lot Of Wieght And His Coat Has A Lot More Shine , - Dosent Look Dull Anymore .. ,And He Is Just A Happy Healthy Dog , We Tried To Feed Him Raw But He Wouldnt Have It .. Not That He Had The Runs Or That He Was Sick , We Gave Him A Raw Chicken Wing And He Licked It And Then Just Looked At Us .. Then He Got Up And Just Left It On The Floor And Walked Away , So We Picked It Up And Put It Next To Him And He Just Kept On Walking Away

Re: do you feed dry food to your dogs

I raw feed mine, although they have had James Wellbeloved in the past. I thought they were doign amazing on it, and eveyrone commented on how good they looked. Never ill, any of them. But my oldest girl started to get dirty teeth, depsite brushing, and her breath stank. (well, doggy breath!) That was what made me change when I did. Now all have sparkling pearly whites and beautiful breath! They also look MUCh better than I ever thought a dog could!

I think alot of people feed dried/complete food without thinking there is a problem, as so many people and vets think most of the problems attributed to dried foods are normal for dogs. Such as bad breath, dirty teeth, anal glands that need manually emptying, dry skin etc.

It is a bit like plenty of people surviving and looking perfectly well on a diet of utter junk, yet we kno wit isn't good for them really. Most wouldn't get away with that, but a few do.

I have a friend who feeds her Dobe on Pedigree Complete. He looks gfab, really shiny coat, good weight etc. I still wouldn't feed my dogs on it though.

Re: do you feed dry food to your dogs

Older dog Nature Diet Lamb
Younger dog Nature Diet Puppy and Arden Grange BUT she's not too fond of the AG looking at changing her soon as my meat order in due.

Both have tinned sardines or mackeral added as a treat. The older dog does get some of our meat if there is any left.

regards
