Little Millie is on a distinguished road
THANK YOU all regarding Little Millie

After reading all the threads from you regarding my Millie it meant so much... The RSPCA lady went round to tell that nasty neighbour about how Millie had died friday night all because of her.. The RSPCA lady had seen Millie at the vets and had got to know her so she also was very up set. She said she will now be on her back....
I am feeling so awful I can't put in to words, how dare this lady take our baby from us. I have never seen my husband cry like he did. He has asked to get another puppie to fill the empty space, as so have my friends and family. They say it may help. Weekend I was saying no way.. but I may be changing my mind as I agree I miss Millie being around. What would you do? Even our vet seems to think it's a good idea.
Millie has been put to rest in our garden. On her grave is a silver plate reading. ""Millie, Our little Princess, Gone for long walkies"" Today I have a white rose being delivered to put on there as well.
Your all so right when you write, she gave us so much and try to remember that. I shall. Once again I thank you all from the heart. Louise xx

Re: THANK YOU all regarding Little Millie

Really sorry to hear about Millie.
It's always so hard losing a pet, and difficult to say anything to make it easier.
I think if you are ready to get another puppy then you should. I was the same when Max died I got Dexter about a week or so later. I felt guilty that it was too soon, but just couldn't stand how quiet it was without him so I know how you feel. If you do get another puppy though don't feel guilty as I wish i hadn't. I've given another cat a great home and although I miss Max everyday I wouldn't change how i did things. Just make sure you are definitely ready and don't feel pressured.

Oh sweetie im so sorry to hear about little Millie
Words dont express just how much I feel for you

I say get yourself another furbaby ... after my Buddy died it was two weeks later that I got Toffee , the quiet around the house was too much to bear.
and dont feel any guilt , the new puppy wont know anything of whats gone on in your life , only that it will want to love you and be loved , and Millie , im sure , would know that you have an adundance of love to share and would want you to do just that

Re: THANK YOU all regarding Little Millie

I glad the lady from the RSPCA went round to the nasty neighbour, I dont think I could of held myself back and ended up clocking her one!

Its a positive step that you are looking to the future and the possibility of getting another dog, I think it would be good for everyone, why not try a rescue? There are so many dogs/pups there who would love a great new home to be spoiled rotton! I'm glad you are starting to feel a little better. Please keep us updated, thinking of you and your family
