I have 2 northern Inuits they are not kc reg as the kennel club wont recognise the breed until the 2 sides sort out their differences.
I am not overly bothered about the kennel club to be honest, It does have some good policy's but it also allows a lot of inbreeding etc

now i personaly believe that the way poodles are being cross bred we will in the end have cavapoos and the like on kc reg..i think its only a matter of time..omo.

we knew prior to choosing bailey that he was not kc reg. when we visited the breeder we liked the pups,the parents,the breeder and the evioroment they were raised in so we were not too concerned about non kc. our dogs are pets only as were my previous two dogs wich were kc reg and were chosen for the same reasons not the piece of paper

I think the KC is just a money making farce to tell you the truth. I have heard too many things just lately about the KC.

We have both our dogs papers but descided not to register them at the time it was an additional cost we could not afford and we also descided never to breed or show them so from that point there was no reason to .

My two GSds are not kennel club reg, the reason being we bought them from friends , they both have differant mothers , the father of them were also friends of where we bought them from and also our friends too , they had a fall out over some money that had been borrowed and now he wont give the papers up so i just have the mothers papers , they only breed once a year and i have seen the papers for the father they live next door to my son , i really think the KC are just another making money scheme as my last dog was KC and came from a breeder that didnt look after her well, we got the two we have for pets only and love them to bits and they are both beautiful dogs , sorry if its a little confusing.
