As for KC being cheaper

I suggest you look at For sale Ads. No one will ever stop it happening, but I for one get really concerned as I know of people who have bought Non KC Reg pups, bred from unethical, unresponsible money grabbing Breeders, only to discover their lovely cute pup has health issues and some have died prematurely.
I do notlike to see it happening, but obviously it does not bother you, so each to their own concience

Speaking as the owner of a activity registered wsd (she has to be registered aswe compete in a kennel club sport), so therefore not KC registered, I don't think this thread is annoying, I think Clueless asked a ligitimate question, to which she has received many replies.

We Got Jasper Because Well We Decided On Getting A English Springer Spaniel - And Preffered The Working Type Then The Show Type , And We Saw The Add In The Paper For Springers And Mom Went ( I Was At School ) Into There Home And Talked To The Owners And Met The Puppys And The Mom And Dad

His Dad Was A KC Dog - A Show Type Springer
His Mom Was A Rescue Working Type

And It Was An Accidental Litter ( Apparently When They Rescued The Girl They Where Told That She Was Spayed .. I Dont Know If Its True Or Not But Thats What We Got Told ) And Well We Just Wanted A Companion Rather Then A PureBred Pedigree So It Didnt Really Matter Much To Us , Though I Understand Its Bad They Didnt Have Health Checks ECT ( Well The Dad Did But The Mom And Puppies Didnt ) But I Guess His Little Eyes Just Won Mom Over ?

But Jasper Is 100% Healthy And Is Going To Be 5 Next Month

I Wouldnt Trade Him For The World

I like this forum because of its diverse membership, lots of forums are very narrow dedicated to this or that dog sport, showing, or specific breed, I like reading others viewpoints, whether I agree with them or not, its good to see others ideas.
