Re: New puppy!!!
Congrats on new pup.
We got our second pup 5 weeks ago now (gosh thats gone sooo quick). Our boy is 15 months old so just a big pup himself so very boistrous and rough with our little girl. She let him know if he was too much and if we felt that he wasn't paying attention to her signal we would then intervene and give them time out away from each other. We only intervened as a last resort. We did make the mistake in the first couple of days of interferring too much but we were told to let them sort out their own relationship as much as possible. As soon as we took a step back things got much better very quickly. Now 5 weeks down the line they are the best of friends and they both understand when the other wants to be left alone without us interferring at all. Have fun..... It's great having 2 dogs ![]() |
